D-Path to Becoming

Hello and welcome to my dream come true. My name is Darline Jean and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Qualified Supervisor (LCSW-QS), and Masters level Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP). I am a seasoned clinician with over a decade’s worth of experience in the social services industry. I have worked with various populations including families, adults and children experiencing life challenges, including but not limited to, families experiencing marital issues, child-related challenges, and individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders. In addition, I have mentored master’s level clinicians seeking licensure and have consulted on cases with individuals experiencing a Severe Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI). I have worked in schools, homeless shelters, hospitals, outpatient community mental health agencies, and most recently inpatient substance use treatment. Growing up in a Caribbean household, I have always wanted to create a space that would promote the value of maintaining mental wellness and empowering the next generation of mental health professionals serving in my community and this is it.
